PROBLEMS WITH THE WEB STREAM???

Player Window Won't Open: Check your pop-up blocker. If you have software on your computer that automatically blocks pop-up ads, you may have difficulty in launching the tuner. The software cannot in some cases differentiate between an unwanted ad and the 96.3 WDVD player. Try disabling the blocking software and then connecting to the stream. Some newer browsers are being released with this software installed and enabled. If you have updated browsers or installed a new browser and are experiencing difficulties connecting, view your browser's help tab for instructions on disabling this feature.

You Can Hear the Stream at Home But Not at Work: Many businesses use a firewall for security reasons, which can affect our online stream. If you think this may apply to you, please contact your network administrator or IT person for assistance. Tell them you have to have your 96.3 WDVD!

The Stream Cuts Out or Goes Silent at Times: Again this may be a firewall issue (see above). Also, Internet traffic can cause what is most commonly referred to as "buffering." This is where the audio seems to cut in and out, or stop altogether.

The Online Stream Seems Behind the Broadcast Heard on the Radio: Correct! Sometimes it may be a half hour behind. The audio "buffers" - meaning that it stays in front of the actual signal so that you don't miss anything. For this reason, when playing on-air contests, you should rely on the over the air broadcast as it is in real time.
